Ecumenical Conference of Charity

OUR MISSION

The ECC brings Christians together to help people in need. It is ecumenical, i.e. it involves all Christians irrespective of denomination. It is based on the fundamentals of teaching and example of Christ which all denominations accept. This is summarised as a call to all who would follow Christ to serve others in need for His sake. (Matt.25;31-46) The ECC is entirely committed to identifying with Christ in this Mission of Service for Him, with Him and in Him.

Guiding Principles

	The primary aim of the ECC is to help in crisis situations, and help is given to all, irrespective of race or belief.
	All donations go directly to help the poor; none isused for administration.
	No work of charity is excluded.
	Our goal is simply to provide the necessities of life to the poor and guide them with opportunities so that they, in turn, can help others.

Please pray for the work of the ECC, for those whom we help, and for our benefactors.

We welcome and urge Christians from all churches of Bahrain to come and join our worthy cause.

he ECC is part of the social outreach programme of St. Christopher's Cathedral.

ECC meetings, which are open to all Christians, are held from 6.30 - 7.30 pm on the first and third Tuesday of each month in the Committee Room at St. Christopher's Cathedral.
