Dear Parents and Friday Clubbers,

Welcome back after the Christmas break.

I hope you are all refreshed and leaping into the New Year - a Leap Year!
Friday club begins again on this coming Friday (13) with the 3 groups we had last term - Sprouts, Disciples and Saints.

We are looking forward to learning about Samuel this month, looking at some of the lost-and-found stories Jesus told and rehearsing for the Easter play, which will be presented on Palm Friday, March 30.

No one is too small to be a child of God! January opens the New Year with a look at Samuel, serving God from the age of three, and called to be one of the judges of Israel, who anointed the first king in Israel, Saul, and when he was old, David.

We follow in February with some of the most well-known stories Jesus told, about being lost and then found, showing us how God goes on searching for us till He finds us.

In March, we begin rehearsals for the Easter Play, presented on Palm Friday (March 30). The Easter theme continues in April, after the break, with Jesus meeting his disciples on the beach after his resurrection, and his ascension into Heaven.
