The volunteers of the Ecumenical Conference of Charity were very happy to recently welcome back to Bahrain the founder of the organization Frank McGarry, who with his wife Claire was here for a short visit. Frank and Claire were resident in Bahrain for over 20 years and it was in 1996 that Frank together with Rev. Derek Taylor and two clergy from other denominations formed the Charity.

It was indeed a happy visit although a very hectic one for Frank and Claire, as being well remembered by many ‘old’ friends they experienced virtually no free time in the five days that they were in Bahrain. Whist here they were able to attend one of the twice monthly ECC meetings followed by dinner at The British Club.
