"The Light of the World'
By Holman Hunt  1827-1920

Painting based on Revelation, Chapter 3, verse 20 -
"Behold I stand at the door and knock: if any man hear my voice
and open the door, I will come into him and will sup with him, and he with me."

".....and I said to the man who stood at the gate of
the year, "Give me a light that I may see my way into
the unknown".'

In Memoriam

As recorded elsewhere we recently said farewell to Shelagh and Tim Jordan.  It is with great sadness that we record the passing of Shelagh's mother Alice on 26 December.  Alice was a frequent visitor to Bahrain and known and loved by many of the congregation.  May her soul rest in peace.

Please remember to pray for persecuted Christians - so many Christians do not have the freedom
to worship as we do here in Bahrain.

The Barnabas Fund based in Pewsey, UK, works to support Christian communities in
those parts of the world where they are facing poverty and  persecution.
