If you haven’t yet
noticed, the unworthy ‘kitchen door’ from the cathedral to the outer
vestry and office has been replaced with a fine Bahraini door worthy
of any cathedral. This door has been provided as part of the renovation scheme for the outer office area in memory of Gerald Green. The scheme is not yet complete. We had to put it on hold for the enthronement and Christmas. The doors and furnishings have been produced at the Al Jazra Craft Centre with loving care and attention by Nasser and his workmen. If you have not yet inspected the area then please do so, but remember it is incomplete. On completion we intend to have a formal ceremony of blessing and inauguration in memory of Gerald. more later..... |
