SEA-SUNDAY : On the weekend of Sunday 19th June the Cathedral and Awali Anglican Church, observed “SEA SUNDAY WEEK-END”. The Sunday School children staged a tableau presenting seafarers on board ship, which was very interesting. Fr. Alan even began the Cathedral Council meeting by highlighting the Mission’s work among Seafarers in Bahrain and offering prayers both for Seafarers and Mission’s work. ”IT ALL DEPENDS” was the Sea Sunday theme and I had privilege to speak and explain at all our services the worldwide work of the Mission to Seafarers offering prayers both for Mission and also for Seafarers and their families around the world. I wish to “THANK ALL” and especially Fr. Alan our Dean and the members of the congregations for the support extended to this very important ministry. REQUIRED URGENTLY : We urgently need used Paperback books for the Seafarers’ Welfare Centre Library. If you have finished reading books and do not need them any more and/or can spare any, please give me a call {mob. 3924 7413} or leave them at the Cathedral for me. Thank you. THANKS : On 5th July it will be 10 years since I was ordained to the Priesthood in our Cathedral. We praise God and give Him thanks for His Blessings as I continue to serve Almighty God and minister to his people Ruby joins me to offer our sincere thanks to the Dean, the Council members and the members of the Cathedral and Awali congregations for your support, and request your continued prayers in my ministry. God Bless. Victor Salve |
