Songs of
Praise - Once a Month!

Following the success of the ‘Songs of Praise’ service in June, the Church Council approved the idea of this kind of service once a month. As from Sunday 25th September the 6.00pm Sunday evening service on the 4th Sunday of each month will now be SONGS OF PRAISE. The success of this venture of course depends on YOU. Church goers often say “They never sing my favourite hymn.” Well here’s your chance to put that right. If possible please submit your hymn choice at least a week before the service date. You might like to add why you have chosen that particular hymn and you may even introduce it to the congregation if you wish. Songs of Praise occasions are not just an opportunity to have a good sing but they are above all an act of worship and a wholehearted way to praise the Lord. By the way, don’t just choose a hymn, come along and join in the worship. A.H. |
