The Rev'd Michael
Roemmele, who was the Vicar of St. Christopher's in the late '70s
early 80s was instituted as the Rector of St. Mary's Church,
Macosquin in the Diocese of Derry and Raphoe, Ireland on Thursday,
30th August 2007. He and his wife Adrienne together with two of their children spent happy years in Bahrain from 1979 to 1983 after which Michael was appointed a Chaplain in the R.A.F. where he served for a number of years before moving over to the Army, from which he has just retired. Some of you will remember all the good work Mike and Adrienne did in the early years in St. Christopher's. They came back to Bahrain in 2003 with their son Patrick (who was born after they left) to spend some weeks as Locum when Alan was on holiday. |
