Weekly Floral decorations for our Cathedral
For many years we have been privileged and
blessed with a weekly supply of floral decorations for the
Cathedral, supplied free of cost by Singapore Flowers. We are
extremely grateful for their generosity.
However, unfortunately due
to circumstances beyond their control, they are no longer able to
assist us in this way. We therefore invite you, our worshippers and
brothers and sisters in Christ, to help by providing flowers to
enhance our worship.
It is suggested that
you may wish to commemorate a birthday, anniversary or memorial in
this way, by either providing arrangements yourself or by paying for
the cost of the weekly decorations.
Please contact
Elizabeth in the Cathedral office for details
Confirmation
The
confirmation preparation group meets every Wednesday at 6 p.m. in the Coffee Room. Just to remind you that Bishop Clive
will be with us from 8th – 15th June during which
he will confirm our candidates at the 6pm service on Sunday 13th
June. Please pray for all those who are preparing for confirmation.

Everyday
Thanksgiving
Even
though I clutch my blanket and growl when the alarm
rings, thank You Lord, I can hear.
There are many who are deaf.
Even though I keep my eyes closed against the morning
light as long as possible, thank You Lord, I can see.
Many are blind.
Even though I huddle in my bed and put off rising, thank
You Lord, I have the strength to rise. There are many
who are bedridden.
Even though the first hour of my day is hectic, when
socks are lost, toast is burned, tempers are short and
my children are so loud, thank You Lord, for my family.
There are many who are lonely.
Even though our breakfast table never looks like the
pictures in magazines and the menu is at times
unbalances, thank You Lord, for the food we have. |
