The Cathedral Sunday Club takes place every Sunday for an hour from 4-5 pm during school term. 

We start off with a short friendly, informal and lively church service by Rev. Alan Hayday where the children can enjoy being in church and have fun learning about God. 

After the service we go to the Coffee Lounge where the children are divided into 2 groups; years 3-5 and 6-9. 

We rely on the efforts of helpers to look after the two groups.  We do a wide variety of activities that tie in with the lesson of the day including painting, drawing, colouring, playing with clay, playing games and much more.  After a very active and enjoyable afternoon we end by giving the children the opportunity to say a prayer.  It is very comforting to say that some children who hardly said a word in the beginning are now offering to say a prayer.  Even the 3 year olds. 

We invite all children between the ages of 3 an 9 to join our Sunday Club where they can enjoy being in church and have fun learning about God.  Magda.
