Once again we remind readers that the Anglican Church in Bahrain is ‘self-supporting’.  We have no income from outside sources.  In addition, the church gives financial support to the Diocese. 

As noted in the last issue.  The Annual fete which has been the main fund-raising event of the year will no longer take place.  In its place there will be a number of differing fund-raising events, the first of which is the Jumble Sale on Thursday 7^th October.  Being the weekend immediately before the start of Ramadan, this is an ideal time to not only come and find some bargains, but also empty the house of unwanted ‘jumble’ and bric-a-brac.
